My Review:

 

Although this video remains one of my favourite music clips of all times, it remains, also, as one of the most frightening. With shocking images of a mangled face inside a television, midgets with uniform faces, and the bleak surrounds of a suburban apartment block, the vicious crafting of this freakish video throws into sharp relief the entent of both Chris Cunningham's technical prowess and dark imagination.

As for the song, it is a remarkable achievement, both confronting and indiviual, and in my opinion stands as a landmark of modern electronic music. Untraceable dynamic drums rattle over the synthesised crooning of the melody to consummate what is an absinthe-soaked, nerve-wracking and yet unforgettable piece.

Overall, I give it 9/10.
